Pond Heaters

Floating Pond Heaters

Winter pond temperatures can remain very cold for months in our climate. Pond life needs oxygen even during hibernation. If ice covers the surface of the pond oxygen can't get in and toxic gasses can't get out.

If you live in an area where the pond will be covered over by ice, then it may be necessary to install a De Icer.

  • With a floating plate, the heater can float on the water surface. It is suitable for application in various ponds and gardens to create a deiced area so as to prevent fishes from dying of shortage of oxygen in cold winter.

  • There are some drinking holes on the floating plate specially designed for small birds, through which, they can drink freely during iced days. And the bowl-like place is also incorporated into both sides of the floating plate for holding bird food to attract small lovely birds. It helps add more liveliness to your iced ponds and gardens.

  • The heating tube must be properly submersed into water till the water level mark on the heater is reached or it couldn't work properly.

  • The heater is equipped with a thermal protector. When the water is too shallow to reach the water level mark on the heater, the thermal protector will work automatically to cut off the power so as to avoid any possible accidents.
